I'm looking at the output connector of a Lambda TCR600S1 power supply. It looks like this:
This has 8 pins and a metal shell with 5 notches on the inside, and what looks like some locking pins on the outside. It is supposed to be rated to high voltages (>600V). What is it?
(Unfortunately I have no documentation for this power suppply. I've used Lambda power supplies before, they usually come with screw terminals)
The connector on the PCB is a MOLEX KK Series HEADER, SQUARE PIN, 0.1", 8WAY and the one on the cable is a MOLEX KK Series CRIMP HOUSING, 0.1", 8WAY.
So in order to make a compatible male end, you'll need to get a 8-pin crimp housing (The picture from Farnell isn't accurate, as it shows a connector with only 5 pins) and connect the other end of your cable to it with the help of a 8 x Crimp Contacts. And on the converter's PCB you'll have to solder an 8-pin Molex Header.

That connector family is called the Mate-n-Lok series. They are great power connectors and have been around for years. They come in two general sizes, the Mini type and the standard or Universal series.

Your two pin is hard to tell from the picture if it is the universal or the mini.

so yours is a Bendix PT02H-12-8S
from what i can tell the connector and the metal shell are two separate parts.
the metal part is a "holder" and the connector is a cable end.
