I need to know what the part number is for a 6 pin SMD component. The code on the case is ADJF. Please let me know if anyone has a datasheet or information for this device. The circuit board is an audio display MP3 player with four switches that can switch an audio signal to four external devices with auxiliary cables such as amplifiers, headphones, portable Bluetooth speakers, etc.
You should really use (timer) interrupt driven firmware to ensure your clock ticks accurately. Software delays will cause a gradual drift because of variations in your program flow. Here is a good overview of how to use Timers on the Arduino platform. You can follow something like the pattern described in the section on "Blinking LED with timer overflow interrupt". The Arduino's 16MHz crystal is plenty accurate for a toy clock project if you write the software correctly.
This style of writing software is "event-driven," so you have to get your mind around that first. The hardware tells you something happened (in this case a second has passed) and your software reacts to it. Instead of you telling your software to "wait a second" and then doing something.
Write down your 10 inputs, D0 to D9 and the Excess03 code (4 outputs).
Table will have 10 lines. You will have 4 inputs (BCD) feeding 4 outputs.
The key here is the 4 OR gates can have as many inputs as required. Look at the 1's in output and can you see how to get outputs from inputs.

With the photo added, it does indeed appear to be an MP1470.
Comparing the pin functions from the datasheet we see that the circuit does indeed seem to match.
There's a capacitor between pins 2 and 6 which match the boost capacitor in the example schematic. Pin 4 is connected to a network of resistors which seems correct. Pin 3 seems to be some form of power input with a nice filter capacitor. And then there is the big inductor in the circuit which indeed confirms it is a switching regulator circuit.
