I am making an old PCI (5V) form factor card for a product, and am having a hard time finding any sort of reliable drawing showing the official dimensions of the gold fingers, key cutouts, and their relationship to the PCI mounting bracket.
Was there an official PCI specification released that I just am unable to find on the internet? Is there some other resource that has these? I am trying to avoid the mistakes that would come about from manually measuring PCI cards I have in house.
I found a description of a similar arrangement on p. 333 of Electric Journal, Volume 9.
The relays close in series to gradually accelerate the car and to come to a smooth stop.
This truth table shows how each relay is closed as the car accelerates and decelerates up and down.
This is just for a simple elevator control that does "up", "down" and "stop". Fancy modern elevators have pushbuttons for each floor, so there would be a more complex system, with relays operated by switches on each floor, and relays keeping themselves energized, a form of one-bit memory.
According to the PCIe Card Electromechanical Specifications (CEM), we have the following specification for connector openings:

So your magic numbers are 89.9mm x 12.06mm.
That diagram also shows you how the space positions relative to the PCB.
If you follow that spec and it doesn't fit into a given case, it is not your problem as you've conformed to the specification that the case designer should also have conformed to.

Yes there is a official specification, several versions in fact.
There is also a book about the PCI bus PCI Bus Demystified that is informative.
