Magento – Disable product from magento search

I would like to disable the product only from search. The product should be enabled and can be seen on the category page and everywhere except on the search page.

In the Admin Dashboard,try to redirect to Products -> Catalog -> Choose Edit which Product that you want to disable in search.

Scroll down, find the Visibility label. Choose Catalog and Save.

After that, don't forget to reindex(System -> Tool -> Index Management). Your product will not appear in search only.

<block type="page/html_pager" name="product_list_toolbar_pager" ##template="page/html/pager/pager.phtml"## />

just remove the code where I the ## and it worked fine for us.

URL Redirect – How to Redirect from Catalog Search to Category Page

Magento has that ability built in, though it must be managed. If you go to Catalog -> Search Terms, you can enter the search query you want to redirect, and the destination URL for the redirect.
