Magento 1.9 – How to Get Short Description for Homepage Below Products

I have a design where I need to insert three lines of the product description in home page of the product and beside the price value I need to include a title name called has "Price". Please check the below image.

If you are using a multistore, make sure you are editing in the correct store scope:

If you are editing the default values, make sure that in the specific store view the "Use default value" option is checked:

If not, then changes made to the "default values" scope will be overridden by whatever is in the "Default Store View" scope.
