I am developing my e-commerce website (www.fashionnow.in). I want to change my home page URL key in CMS Pages.

I want to change this url key.

Current config scope. If this is a simple store, it's probably defined in Default Config, check other scopes to make sure it hasn't been redefined elsewhere. (unchecked box, non gray text field)
In the Scope where it's defined, select the title you changeed it to from the dropdown, save, clear cache.
If CMS page is not showing on the website then below options you could check:
- The CMS page having url key "portfolio" should be enabled.
- The Store view is set properly for the CMS page.
- Try accessing CMS page by adding index.php in your base URL.
- Check if any of your module having frontname same as your CMS page URL key. In your case it is "portfolio"

You can change this
URL Keyin anything you'd like.Because it is the home page we are talking about you will need to check a few additional things too.
System > Configuration > Web > Default Pages > CMS Home Pageand make sure that the page that you just edited is selected as theHome Pagefor your store.Catalog > URL Rewrite Managementand set up a 301 Permant Redirect for this CMS page. This is necessary to prevent this page of being available under two different URLs (your storesBase URLand theURL Keythat you have chosen) and avoid duplicate content.
