Magento – Magento 1.9 – Catalog -> Manage Products not Exporting All Products To CSV

I am having an issue where exporting products under Catalog -> Manage Products in the admin panel is not exporting the entire product collection to a CSV. It is only exporting a small number of products (between 50 and 400).

What can I do to make it so that all products are exported?

Edit: I am aware of the ability to export it from System -> Import/Export, however that is not an option. The user who needs access to this CSV does not have FTP/SSH access to our server.

You can export the products with set profile for export, like go to the system->import/export manage profile after save with all option run the profile, these all are option in magento admin. export file you can find in path var/export folder' magento root. i have export approx 5000 thousand products by this way.

To associate products with categories in Dataflow you'll need two pieces of data:

Sku (Configurable, Simple, doesn't matter)
The target Category IDs

The field for the category IDs needs to be comma-separated itself, so make sure it's quoted if you're manually creating it:

sku,category_ids
ABCD1234,"1,2,3,4,5"
L0S7,"4,8,15,16,23,42"

Save it to disk as a .csv file, and you can upload it to the All Products Import default dataflow profile. This will replace all current categories for the skus listed, so take caution and make sure to get a list of pre-existing category associations.

So there are a few things that you can to get your results with a variety of effort levels. As I see it the two "real" solutions here would be.

Build your own category export/import system,
Import old pages and create url redirects for them,

Firstly a quick touch on point 1. You can always use something like FastSimpleImport or any other third party import system to build your own import/export for categories.

From my opinion this is the wrong way to go about it. I would consider creating the url redirects inside Magento this can be done via the admin, which could be a long job, or your could create a stand-a-lone script or module set-up script to do this for you.

For this your would simply need a mapping from old to new, loop through this mapping and create your rewrites.

Sure both solutions require coding but for me the second option might seem a bit "easier".
