Cisco – Disable DHCP on a 2960x

I must start this by saying I am quite new to the IT scene. Also, I am very new to cisco switches..

I have been tasked to find out information on disabling DHCP on the cisco, and instead have the winserv in charge of dhcp.

I have found information on enabling and configuring the 2960 dhcp, however I can't seem to find info on how to turn it off?

Sorry for the noobish question, but any help is appreciated.

As with most Cisco commands, you can use the no form of the command to remove it. For example, no ip dhcp pool <name>.

You may need to set up IP helpers (DHCP relay) on some VLANs if your new DHCP server is on only one of several VLANs. For that you use the ip helper-address <DHCP Server Address> command on each SVI that doesn't have a DHCP server on its network.

show platform hardware interface ten1/1/31 statistics

That should show you input bytes by CoS.

The 4500 is a very different beast than the 3560/3750 for qos config and monitoring. Some other useful verification commands are:

show platform hardware qos interface foo X/Y

shows queue lengths and flow counts

show interface foo X/Y counter detail

shows interface egress packets by queue, queue drops and DBL drops.

show policy-map interface foo X/Y

Mostly useful if you are doing custom policy maps

show interface foo X/Y capabilities

If you want to know what the number and type of queues are available on a particular interface

show qos maps

You state that a Wireless Controller is not an option, so I'm assuming these are Autonomous Access Points.

On Cisco Autonomous APs, you are looking for the show dot11 associations command and it's associated sub commands.

It gives an output like so:

Once you have the MAC address of your client, you can run the show dot11 associations <MAC ADDRESS> command where <MAC ADDRESS> is the MAC address of the client you're interested in. It should give you all the information you're after. You can also run show dot11 associations all-client and see this information for all associated clients. See the below sample:
