The cable that connects to my rj45 only has 4 cables, blue, orange, blue stripe, orange stripe. When I connect them to their corresponding ports, there is no internet connection.(Blue = 4, Orange = 6, Blue stripe = 5, Orange stripe = 3) How can I connect them so that I get a connection? Any help would be appreciated.

When you use TIA/EIA-568B on both sides this is a straight through cable. The colors of the inner jackets don't really matter, much the same as it makes no difference to the operation of the network if you use a network cable with a black or yellow outer jacket.
However, the standard is in place for a real reason, and that is that the cabling system should be implemented in a standard way so that anyone who works on it will intuitively understand what they are working on.
For instance, imagine if someone used your reversed wiring in a real environment, left, and you were now troubleshooting a cabling issue at that site. On inspection, you determine the cable is damaged and it need to be re-terminated on one side and did so with the standard TIA/EIA-568B. After doing so, the cable still will not work.
It isn't because your termination is bad, but because the cable is now a rolled cable. You may waste additional time/resources on trying to re-terminate the cable additional times. Unless you use a cable tester, you may not easily figure out that the cable is now a rolled cabled.
Ultimately, this potentially causes more problems/downtime and isn't really justifiable by any possible reason the original person may have had to not follow the standard.
Old answer (thinking the OP was talking about using TIA/EIA-568B on one side and the reverse on the other):
What you are describing is what is often referred to as a "rolled" or "rollover" cable. Pin 1 connects to pin 8 on the other side, pin 2 to pin 7, etc.
This type of cable would not work for network communications, but is used by many vendors for serial communication, such as console port access.
The colors are just there as an ease-of-use tool. What really matters from a functional standpoint is what cable is connected in the jack in what position. Electrically the colors of the wires make no difference. It will require care, but you can identify the wires per pair by "ringing" them out with a multi-meter with a continutiy check ( the symbol looks like an arrow pointing at a vertical line or a plus sign ).

Pick a pair and check with test leads on the meter to match them up (holding both ends of the cable together, put one test lead on one wire and one test lead on the other end, testing each wire in turn until you get a reading).
It's a little bit more work, but you can identify a each wire this way and place them in the appropriate postion.
Two issues with my original post addressed pointed out by comments below: You must keep the pairs in the proper relationship to one another and conforming to wiring standards and good practice.

The reason this is so important is because using a pair of wires twisted together to carry a signal utilizes the electrical properties of the wire to improve signal strength, reduce attenuation and destructive interference - it's a great trick to make crosstalk work to our advantage! The difference between CAT5 and CAT3 is the number of twists per inch ( three vs. five, unsurprisingly ). CAT3 is not rated for speeds over 10Mbps and as a result is mostly seen as legacy POTS/PBX cable, whereas CAT5 is rated up to 100Mbps ( and years ago replaced CAT3 for pretty much all uses ). CAT5e has a plastic core that keeps the pairs twisted evenly in the cable related to one another and is rated up to 1000Mbps. ( @YLearn pointed out this is not the case -- CAT5e and CAT6 do NOT require a spline, however some manufacturers used this as a strategy in production of cables ) You can see that the same basic electrical wiring sees an order of magnitude performance improvement just based increasing the twist of each pair and another order of magnitude based on the way the pairs are twisted together.
Another poster ( @Jordan Head ) correctly pointed out that while this is a great learning exercise or as an emergency short-term production fix, it's very important to follow standards - no one wants to have to troubleshoot random wiring pinouts in the middle of the night when there is an outage. It's an added difficulty that should be avoided in production environments.

Your cable is not a proper UTP network cable as defined by TIA/EIA 568. In fact, the pairs used by the 10Base-T (10 Mbps) and 100Base-TX (100 Mbps) ethernet are 1-2 and 3-6. The 1000Base-T (1 Gbps) standard requires all four pairs (wired as 1-2, 3-6, 4-5, 7-8).
You must use a TIA/EIA wiring standard, either TIA/EIA T568A (normally used for home networking) or TIA/EIA T568B (usually used in business networking). Either wiring standard will work, but you probably want the cable wired straight-through. You may need a crossover (one side T568A and the other T568B) under certain circumstances.

The bottom line is that your cable cannot be used for a network cable.
