I am trying to add a second email address to a user in sbs 2008 but i cannot find any option to add more than 1 email address. Any suggestions on what i should be doing.

In the Exchange Management Console, open the user's mailbox. Recipient Configuration -> Mailbox -> username -> properties

In the user's Mailbox Properties dialog, there's a tab for "E-Mail Addresses". Under that, you can add another "SMTP Address". You can also select the default FROM/Reply address in that space.

Yes, you can setup a user without an email, but you will need to do so by going into active directory users and computers and running the add user wizard in here. The SBS add user Wizard always creates an Exchange mailbox, where as the ADUC wizard allows you to uncheck the box to create an Exchange mailbox.

Many of the Ricoh machines do not support SMB Signing. You may need to disable it on the SBS server if this is the case.

Or you could disable SMB signing via the registry set both below values to 0

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\Parameters\Enablesecuritysignature

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\Parameters\Requiresecuritysignature

As Evan noted below, you should use Group Policy to effect this change and keep things tidy.
