Disabling IP Routing Mode on Windows 2008

Is there a way to disable the windows 2008's routing mode from the command line (or GUI)?
That is, I want the following result when running "ipconfig /all"

IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No

You can disable this in the registry.

Run regedit

navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

change the value of IPEnableRouter from 1 to 0

This line worked for me:

icacls testdir /grant "NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService":(OI)(M)

and

icacls testdir /grant "NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService":(CI)(M)

icacls testdir /grant "NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService":(OI)(CI)(M)

Update environment variables from the command line (Windows 2008 Server Core)

To make persistent changes use setx.

For example, to add a folder to the end of the current path, use:

SETX Path %Path%;C:\MyFolder

Your change won't be visible in the current cmd.exe session, but it will be in all future ones.

SETX also allows setting system environment variables on remote systems.
