I have two 500 GB disks and yesterday I mirrored first drive to the second one using software RAID 1.
PC has now been on for 30 hours. Both disks say "Resynching", but there is no progress indicator. In addition, there is a small yellow exclamation mark on both disks.
My questions are:
- How long could the synch take for 500 GB drive with about 150 GB of data? PC has 4 GBs of RAM and AMD dual core 4000+
- Is there a way to monitor status of the synching?
- How can I check what the exclamation mark means?

Here's how you can get the percentage/status back:
Select one of the raid drives in the Disk Management. Then on the right (with Windows 7 Professional) I have the option "More Actions", when I click that there popups a new menu with the option: Refresh.
With that action I got the percentage back, it's still on 4% though here:P. Good luck
