Linux – how to install intel graphics driver on linux

http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ has a manual which actually doesn't work, it's probably too old. Maybe someone has an experience or a link to more clear manual?

binary packages for RHEL5 would be also very useful.

It would be helpful to know what chipset/graphics chip you're using. If its the Intel GMA 500, you'll find that there is very little support from Intel at this point.

vmtouch seems like a good tool for the job.

Highlights:

query how much of a directory is cached
query how much of a file is cached (also which pages, graphical representation)
load file into cache
remove file from cache
lock files in cache
run as daemon

Linux Bash – How to Sort du -h Output by Size

As of GNU coreutils 7.5 released in August 2009, sort allows a -h parameter, which allows numeric suffixes of the kind produced by du -h:

du -hs * | sort -h

If you are using a sort that does not support -h, you can install GNU Coreutils. E.g. on an older Mac OS X:

brew install coreutils
du -hs * | gsort -h

From sort manual:

-h, --human-numeric-sort compare human readable numbers (e.g., 2K 1G)
