Linux – Thinstation Citrix ICA PNAgent Configuration Help

I have an old Thinstation build that connects directly to a Citrix server via ICA. I have a new Citrix farm that has an SSL relay out front, and I can't seem to figure out how I connect to this new farm using the PNAgent module.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

From my research it doesn't appear that this is possible with Thinstation. I have, instead, built a custom SLAX distro which works via cd boot and starts the ica client.

If your Citrix server is directly on the Internet then you not be able connect to your Citrix server. As the company has blocked all direct connections. You have 2 options

1) Have the company setup a Socks Proxy, as this will allow you to resolve the external addresses.

You will need to add the following lines to your ICA file

ICASOCKSProtocolVersion=0
ICASOCKSProxyHost= "IP address of the proxy server"
ICASOCKSProxyPortNumber=1080

2) Setup a Citrix Web Interface at your site which will allow you to connect from any proxy server.

3) Allow routes/ports through the X Company firewall to your Citrix Servers

I'm not entirely sure why this was happening, but even though I had from=http://server_ip/slax.iso, it was actually pulling from an old slax directory that was on the server. So, the only thing I can guess is that the from line was getting truncated and/or split at the .iso.
