Naked domain redirect to www not working with https

http://zetetic.technology/ redirects to https://www.zetetic.technology/ just fine, but redirecting https://zetetic.technology/ results in "ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED" in Chrome.

My site is hosted by g suite, and my domain cname records are controlled by 123 reg. I have set the following cname records

It looks like whatever Google is hosting this on is not configured for SSL on your naked domain and as such is just closing the connection.

I would be contacting Google support about this issue, as I doubt anyone in the public is going to be able to tell you what's going on.

216.239.32.21 is owned by google, so it looks like they are emitting the redirect to www.vekslers.org.

When they say they do not handle "naked" domains I think they mean you cannot serve your site from a naked domain. Instead you have to let them redirect the naked address to the non-naked one as they are doing above.

For HTTPS you will need an alternate subject name for the bare domain on your SSL certificate. This will prevent errors resulting from the certificate name not matching the requested domain.

In DNS you only need to ensure that the bare domain and your www domain have the same address(es) A and AAAA addresses. Your snapshot of the DNS panel is missing the names. For www and the bare domain (@), you need one A record and one AAAA record each. www is the name for the www address. You can use @ or the bare domain ending with a dot (example.com.) as the name for the bare domain.
