Nginx – Redmine Base URI /redmine with nginx

I want to do exactly that but with nginx server
I wrote below settings but login pages like /redmine/login redirects to /login

Please assist.

location /redmine {
          proxy_pass        http://localhost:3000/;
          proxy_redirect    default;
          proxy_set_header  Host               $host;
          proxy_set_header  X-Real-IP          $remote_addr;
          proxy_set_header  X-Forwarded-For  $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;

          proxy_cache       dhis;
          fastcgi_read_timeout 6000;
}

What should I add so any link in the returned page to point start with /redmine prefix.

I'm no expert, but this page suggests adding

alias   <PATH_TO>/redmine/public;
try_files $uri/index.html $uri.html $uri @app;

to your location block. Does that help any?

I believe you need a separate server block for HTTP. For example:

server {
listen 80;

location / {
        proxy_redirect off;
        proxy_cache off;
        proxy_pass         http://127.0.0.1:5000;
        proxy_set_header   Host             $http_host;
        proxy_set_header   X-Real-IP        $remote_addr;
        proxy_set_header   X-Forwarded-For  $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
}

You would then remove listen 80; from the existing server block.

NGINX Load Balancer – Rewrite to Listen on Port

Since your server block is listening on port 88 and you used a relative URL in your rewrite, nginx uses port 88 in the resulting URL.

To fix this, specify the complete URL. For example:

        rewrite  ^/en/businesses$             http://mysite.com/en/business permanent;
