SVN invalid repository url

My working copy seems to keep getting corrupted…I keep having to re-check out to fix.
I am still able to commit, but not able to update.
An svn info command points to the right repository, but if I run svn status -u, it reports svn: Illegal repository URL ''

As far as I can tell, the .svn/entries file looks correct

I figured it out.

I originally had checked in a directory, then after checking out, I removed the directory and symlinked that directory to another directory in another project.

This error usually indicated the folder you're trying to add already exists in the repository - have you done an update recently, or did you do a non-recursive checkout to start with?

I've previously encountered this error - found a blog that told me what the problem was. Solution was a little more complex, remove the directory in question from my working copy (copying it somewhere else), run a recursive update, then merge the two directories together manually.

Svn – cannot commit svn with dav on ubuntu

You need to change the svn files to be in the www-data group, and make them all group-writable. For example, if the repository is /var/svn, then

sudo chown -R root:www-data /var/svn
sudo chmod -R 775 /var/svn

should do it. (Although, come to think of it, you've probably already figured this out...)
