How do I tell Jenkins to run a specific project on a particular slave?

I've set up a Jenkins master node, and a slave node that I want to use for staging an application. But I can't figure out how to configure the project to run on the slave node I created.

Set the "Restrict where this job can be run" check box in your job configuration and specify the name of your slave.

If you add more slaves later, you can set labels for each slave and specify those in your job configs.

authentication works via ssh. have you added the public ssh-key of the jenkins user to the git-user on your git-server?

glad you got it running. i looked on the official jenkins website for a detailed manual on the ssh part of the configuration, but i couldn't find any.

so here's a quick overview - let me know if this is what you need.

jenkins slave (the building machine) connects to the git-server (jenkins master)
building machine runs as jenkins user (e.g. jenkins@dilbert:~$ )
git-server runs as git user (e.g. git@store:~$ )
jenkins@dilbert public key needs to be placed in git@store authorized_keys
run jenkins@dilbert:~/.ssh$ ssh-copy-id git@store to copy jenkins@dilbert ssh public key to the git server

and experiencing the same issue in the office upgrading the jdk7 to the latest oracle-jdk8 could solve the issue.

Please indicate exactly when the issue occurs so it could be possible to reproduce the issue
Please add the Jenkins build log of the build that is causing the issue. Perhaps there is a specific task that is executed by the job that is causing the issue.
View the windows task manager while building the job
Please add the log of one of the successful builds and the log of one of the failed builds
