Postfix – Run Script on Incoming Email Message

I need to run a script everytime there is an incoming email message to a postfix email server. I have read the docs but I was wondering what would be the best approach to do this. Would anybody give me some hint or examples on how to do this. The postfix server is running under Ubuntu.

You could use the After-Queue Content Filter feature: http://www.postfix.org/FILTER_README.html

The readme file contains an example of a very simple filter shell script. You could start with that example and build your own script.

You need a manualroute router to point to the appropriate transport, where you override the standard port. Something like (untested):

begin routers

lamson_host_relay:
    driver = manualroute
    route_list = * lamson.server.com byname
    transport = lamson_smtp

begin transports

lamson_smtp:
    driver = smtp
    port = 666

I'm sorry, but under more investigation into this problem, it really wasn't fault of postfix. User unknowingly kept requesting page that sent this email every once in a while. So this is a explanation to my question.
