C# – Crystal reports error in SetDataSource

I am having trouble in VS 2010 sap crystalreports, using c# to make a windows application.

I get the following error with the following code:

 CrystalReport1 cr1 = new CrystalReport1();
 cr1.SetDataSource(dt1); //Error

Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\dotnet1\crdb_adoplus.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Try using this solution by adding the useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy attribute to your .config file

The .NET Assembly loader:

is unable to find 1.2.0.203
but did find a 1.2.0.200

This assembly does not match what was requested and therefore you get this error.

In simple words, it can't find the assembly that was referenced. Make sure it can find the right assembly by putting it in the GAC or in the application path. I think you require this code, add it into your web.config

Pretty sure this is on google, it maybe a duplicate (will search after answering)

EDIT:

You may have to edit your .Net setting within your build configuration. Maybe try uninstalling the crystal assemblies - set .Net 4 and reinstall (assuming you weren't already on .Net 4) – n34_panda yesterday
