Javascript – Are there any production-ready LINQ implementations for javascript

Background:

Just for laughs I decided to search to see if anyone out there had developed a JavaScript implementation of LINQ.

Lo and behold, there seem to be several of them. It would seem like LINQ implementations are almost like string Template processing engines: everyone and his dog has written one.

Question:
Does anyone out there use a LINQ implementation in production JavaScript code, and if so is there any ranking or preferences for those who have used more than one?

Doesn't get actually what you (and maybe your dog) need. LINQ like system to query DB ? I never met this kind of projects.

If you want query JS arrays/objects you can try something like JSLINQ , JLINQ and JSINQ .

P.S. My dog is inspired and wants implement something like these and name it JINQ :)

In JavaScript, everything is 'truthy' or 'falsy', and for numbers 0 means false, everything else true. So you could write:

if ($(selector).length)

You don't need that >0 part.

Since ES2015, JavaScript has a notion of const:

const MY_CONSTANT = "some-value";

This will work in pretty much all browsers except IE 8, 9 and 10. Some may also need strict mode enabled.

You can use var with conventions like ALL_CAPS to show that certain values should not be modified if you need to support older browsers or are working with legacy code:

var MY_CONSTANT = "some-value";
