Node.js: what is ENOSPC error and how to solve

I have a problem with Node.js and uploading files to server. For uploading files to server I use this plugin. When starting file upload to the server, Node.js process crashed and show error:

Error: ENOSPC.

The server code doesn't run.

$ df -h

Run the below command to avoid ENOSPC:

echo fs.inotify.max_user_watches=524288 | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.conf && sudo sysctl -p

For Arch Linux add this line to /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf:

fs.inotify.max_user_watches=524288

Then execute:

sysctl --system

The arguments are stored in process.argv

Here are the node docs on handling command line args:

process.argv is an array containing the command line arguments. The first element will be 'node', the second element will be the name of the JavaScript file. The next elements will be any additional command line arguments.

  console.log(index + ': ' + val);
});

This will generate:

$ node process-2.js one two=three four
0: node
1: /Users/mjr/work/node/process-2.js
2: one
3: two=three
4: four
