R – Flex swf file: how to inspect the method exposed

In every language there are a lot of tool to inspect the interface exposed by the compiled file, then what is the best tool for Flex swf file? I am debugging my code but the invoke always failed, I am writing my callee like below in my mcml file:

            public function playVideo():void
            {
                svid.play();
                return;
            }

And in another mcml I am using SWFLoader to load it and call it, but it always failed.

Do you mean runtime introspection, or introspection while you're developing?

For runtime introspection, I've found as3-reflect very helpful.

For developing, though… I just use FlexBuilder's autocompletion. I'd be interested to learn about a better way, though.

ExternalInterface has been availble since as1.0, so that may be the solution to your problems. With the ExternalInterface class actionscript can communicate with javascript, and vice versa. R – Flex loads SWF as Sprite. How to load it as a Movieclip instead

main_maix looks to be the document class of the swf being loaded in. If so, main_maix should extend MovieClip instead of Sprite:

public class main_maix extends MovieClip

Also, you can always cast classes an object to be able to access it freely (but not a very good practice). You may want to just "cast it as main_maix":

 *

 */
private function onLoadMinigameComplete(event:Event):void 
{
    // -- either will allow "free access" to methods of main_maix
    var maixAsObject:Object = Object(loader.content);
