I am trying to add objective-c libraries to my Swift 3 project (Xcode 8 IDE). But objective c interface header is not getting generated automatically. I tried to add bridging header manually but showing linking error saying bridging header .h is not found. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Be careful to add the file to the folder that your error is complaining! I've made the same mistake, if you create the file from Xcode, it will go to the folder: Project->Project->Header.h
And Xcode is looking for Project->Header.h
That means you need to put the file inside your project folder (ProjectName->ProjectNameFolder)!

I'm not sure if I got what you mean, but try this to solve your problem:
1. Delete all your bridging files that you created until now.
2. Select the main folder of project and hit new file->iOS->Header file.
3. Write your imports in the header file created.
4. Select the project inside Xcode->Build Settings, type in search field: bridging and put in the key SWIFT_OBJC_BRIDGING_HEADER the name of your header file or the path to it!
If you follow this steps, your header file will be created at the correct location!

I found a Objective-C Bridging Header setting in the target Build Settings. It was hidden by default. Check All instead of Basic.
In recent Xcode versions this solution would give the error Using bridging headers with framework targets is unsupported.
The workaround I've been using is to make the C-header public in the file inspector and import it in MyFramework.h like this example:
#import <MyFramework/MyObjectiveC.h>
How to change the C-header to public
Open your C-header and view the inspector by clicking in the upper right corner. To view the file inspector, click the file icon in the upper right corner.

Here the solution for the issue.
Open finder and drag and drop your bridging header file to the popup. Now it will create an absolute path for bridging header. To make relating path, you can give the path as $(PROJECT_DIR)/$(PROJECT_NAME)/$(PROJECT_NAME)-Bridging-Header.h
Click outside for the value get saved. Done!! Now you can import your Objective-C libraries (eg. #import "SVProgressHUD.h") to bridging file and start using it in your swift project.
