R – Passing parameters from SL Reporting to Reporting Services

I am trying to figure out how to pass some of the options from Microsoft SL Reporting to my report in SQL Reporting Services. I need to use them as parameters for my SQL statement in the report and can not figure out how to accomplish the connection between the two programs.

During runtime, SL Reporting creates the RptRuntime table that the report can access through the RIParam function. However, I can't figure out how to get access to that table from the SQL side.

Any help would be great!

To late for the original asker of the question, but with SQL Server 2008 R2 this is now possible:

Set the property "Pagebreak" on the tablix or table or other element to force a new tab, and then set the property "Pagename" on both the element before the pagebreak and the element after the pagebreak. These names will appear on the tabs when the report is exported to Excel.

REPLACE didn't work for me when used with IN for some reason. I ended up using CHARINDEX

WHERE CHARINDEX( ',' + customerState + ',', ',' + @StateList + ',' ) > 0
