Eclipse – Subversive SVN Connectors does not appear in eclipse juno

the Subversive SVN Connectors does not appear after rebooting eclipse Juno IDE after installing svn from the eclipse marketplace.

any ideas?

Because of this issue i cannot assign a svn connector to the svn eclipse plugin so therefore it cannot do any svn features at all.

i am running windows 8 and tried to run eclipse in Admin mode but still no joy. anywhere i can download the connectors manually and if so, where do i install it?

From polarion use this update site. I installed just

subversive SVN Connectors
SVNKit 1.7.5.v1 Implementation
SVN Team provider connectors source

After this I found in eclipse preferences Team->SVN has the svn kit 1.7.5 selected and everything started to working.

I had a similar problem right after the update. It turned out that I had been getting the connectors (the base connector and both the SVNKit and JavaHL connectors) from the Polarion site that had "ganymede" in the URL. Instead, I should have been using the general URL.

Checking my current configuration, you should be using this update URL:

http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/

The one I had been using, that should be deprecated if you are using it, is:

http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/ganymede-site/

Note the difference. Once I changed that, I was able to download the 2.0.3 versions of the connectors, and Subversion again worked for me.

According to this (original german, translated), the Helios version is not compatible with the Polarion connectors you're using. Try using the ones from the update site. Watch out that your javaHL matches your JAVA/machine architecture (32/64 bit) if you use it, otherwise will cause serious issues.
