Row Header For Cross Tab Report In Crystal Reports

I have designed one crystal cross tab report.it is displaying like this

       col1 col2 col3

row1 row11 val1 val2 val3

row2 row21 val1 val2 val3

but i want heading for the row also i.e. i want report like this

name1 name2 col1 col2 col3

row1 row11 val1 val2 val3

row2 row21 val1 val2 val3

can any one help?

Ryans solution only works for the first page, but he is on the right track.

This solution works for all pages

Crosstab with headers above the rows on each page

1) The crosstab needs to be in its own group section header.

2) you need to have 2 page header sections.

Section 2 (page header a) contains all the text you want to appear on each page including the row header. In my case i have the row headers "Table Curr MinBet"

Section 2 (page header a) needs to have the "Underlay Following sections" checkbox checked from Section expert. This makes CR display the page header section underneath the crosstab.

3) PageHeaderSection2 (page header b) is used to space the crosstab to the right position. Without this, the page header and row header appear underneath the crosstab report rather than above it.

I am running CR version 13_0_1 for visual studio 2010

This can be done by splitting the details section in to columns.

Right click the Details section in Design view and select Section Expert.
Check the box Format with Multiple Columns An extra tab on the top right will appear called layout.
In the Layout tab set the Width to 4.5cm (for Portrait) and ensure that Across then Down is selected.

This will split the details in to columns of 4.5 cm wide.

Crystal report Cross-Tab order by another column

Crosstab's sorting is based on the rows order, if you want to sort it in your on you have to add some extra rows and have to suppress subtotal and Label in Customize Style of Crosstab Expert

Example: If you have 3 rows(A,B,C) to display and you have to sort it in order like B,C,A then you have to add 2 new rows(B,C) now your Crosstab looks like (B,C,A,B,C) now you have to suppress Rows B and C you meet your both requirements for sorting and display order

But This solution have some limitations like if you want to export the report in Excel then it will add extra cells in grand total. otherwise you are good to go.

Example: If you have 3 rows(A,B,C) to display and you added one row and you suppress it to solve your sorting issue then in Excel its grand total looks like

A            B            C
a            1            3    
b            2            2
---------------------------
Total:                    3            5
