I just received login credentials for a GitHub organization. How can I add my personal GitHub account to the organization?
When I try to log into the organization, I get the following error message:
That account is an organization, you can't log in to it. Try your personal account instead.
You got it almost right, you'll have to add the other email to your profile settings. However, Github picks up the first listed email address for your gravatar.
So you'll have to remove the email ids such that the preferred gravatar email id bubbles up. Once done, you can re-add the removed email ids.
Thanks to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, this is what the footer used to look like when they had the translation options circa late 2010:
A redesign or two since then has removed the footer, and that the URL parameters have no effect, it's looking like that feature has been quietly deprecated from the GitHub web interface.
Also, you can't load SSL pages via Google Translate or Bing Translate, so using those to filter the page in a non-English language will unfortunately not work.
Unless there is another service that will translate SSL delivered pages (all of github.com is served over SSL), you can't live render a local translation of github.com to read.

I think an organization is not an account. An administrator or more are assigned to an organization and he/she/them manage it. You must to login using your administrator account credentials and then you can manage your organization.
