Can we export our responses from Adobe into Cognito along with the form itself?
Also, can we batch print?

Cognito Forms supports bulk importing of form designs from Adobe FormsCentral, but does not support importing responses. Adobe requested that we not ask for Adobe usernames and passwords due to security concerns (which I agree with) and the alternatives were too complicated for our users to make it worth implementing. We have verified with Adobe that, because of our approach, our import tool will still work after the June 23rd deadline.
We do not currently have batch printing support. We are actively working on PDF generation capabilities and will eventually support some form of batching, but will start with the ability to do things like include PDF's as email attachments for notifications.
You can print individual entries using the Print button and save to PDF (with Google Chrome) or print to PDF if you have Acrobat or another product that enables PDF printing. Also, we are planning to support PDF/DOCX Export in a future release. We have not yet considered XLSX export of individual entries. We also support restful JSON webhooks for posting submitted entry data into other systems, which is a great way to track things without relying on physical documents.
You can print and Save to PDF when managing entries, and then use this PDF in the permitting system.
If you really want the PDF to match an official paper form today, you can use a services like Zapier to connect your forms to WebMerge to generate PDF forms. You can do this today with our JSON post feature and we are about to release an official Zapier app.
We are working on native PDF/DOCX merging as part of Cognito Forms. We are very excited about this feature and know it will be very important to our customers. We expect to have this in place in a few months. You can track our progress on this feature on our Idea Board.
We know full and well that the first option is not sufficient for some organizations, especially government organizations with official forms that must be filled out. Also, the Zapier to WebMerge route is less than ideal (and pricey).
This is why we have always planned to support native merging of form data to PDF and DOCX files. This feature was already on our Next Up list before Adobe announced the "retirement" of FormsCentral, but hearing from their devoted customers has just reinforced the importance of this for us.
