Is there an easy way to display the name of a parent case in the child case data export?

The default settings of your project do not let you split mulitselect questions in case exports. This is because your case does not know which questions correspond with which case properties (because it could be multiple questions).
However, we do have a feature preview that you can enable on your project that will allow you to define how you would like to split your case property in a case export.
You can enable this setting by going to https://www.commcarehq.org/a/your_domain/settings/project/previews/ and checking the "Split multi-selects in case export" option. Then hit Update Previews.
When that is enabled you should see an extra column in your export that will allow you to select the Type. Here you select "multiselect." Then you can add your options. Example below:
The best way to do this is to save both the location_id and the location name to the case after your multiple choice question. You can find the expression to get the location name from the location_id here:

Then, just display the location name in the case list rather than location_id.

I don't think there's an "easy" way to do this so it just comes through in the export. Your options would be:
Save the name of the parent case to the child case so it is a child case property. This isn't a great idea since if the name of the parent changes later it will be incorrect on the child case. You'd need to be very confident the case names won't change to use this method.
Export the parent_case_id in your export, then also export the parent cases separately. Use a vlookup to match them in Excel after the fact.
