I would like to edit the same map on Google Earth and Google My Maps. I know that I can export KMZ to Google Earth and open it there. But what if I change the map in My Maps – I would like an automatic update in Google Earth and vice versa.
Is it possible to achieve that?
Printing maps using material from Google Earth is a violation of copyright and Googles guidelines for the maps. You should buy a license to use a commercially available map or find maps without copyright restrictions. Perhaps openstreetmaps might suit your needs - be aware that they have their own open source-style licensing model which may not be suitable for your needs.
I think you should be able to do this using a KML file which contains Network Links to your KMZ files.
The nice thing about the Network Links is that it doesn't have to be KMZ files it can be a script or feed that outputs a KMZ/KML file. There is a demo of how to do this here under the section Generating a Random Placemark
Basically you create a KML file in the following format:

Then in Google Maps, search using the full URL pointing to your KML file and you get something like this:
This displays 7 different KMZ files on the same map but using only one URL - the KML file with all the links in.

Should be possible - partially. Your maps are a part of Drive so first you need to download desktop Drive client - https://www.google.com/drive/download/ - and enable synchronization. Then you need to setup folder from Google Earth containing maps, to be included or transferred into your Drive synchronization folder. And when done just open your KMZ/KML map in Google Earth, play with it and save it, which will get synchronized with your Drive and your map in MyMaps shall be auto-updated and ready to be edited from MyMaps. then just play with your map on MyMaps and when done it will be auto-updated and auto synchronized with your Drive folder on your PC so its ready to be opened and played again in Google Earth, and so on.
