Facebook – Blog name disappeared in Facebook share

I recently created my first blog (http://smellslikebaking.blogspot.com/) and I'm trying to customize it. I customized my share buttons and I enabled the meta tags for the posts, so that when I share on Facebook, it shows a description.

Before I did all this, when I shared on Facebook, the title of the share would be the blog name and the post name. Now, it just shows the post name and I don't know how to insert the blog name again.

OG (Open Graph) tags on a website control how Facebook "sees" it.

There must be something in either the way Blogger has done sharing icons and description meta-tags (if you used their standard features), or in the code that you used which has changed the way Facebook reads your blog.

If you want to control this, then the answer is to learn about how to install Open Graph tabs into Blogger (Google it).

Login to Blogger account.
Navigate to Design > Edit HTML
Click on Download Full Template for your security purpose.
Check the Expand Widget Templates box then..

Add the following in the <head> section of your Blogger template. Enter this code below the Home Page code above you have just entered:

Add your post URL, keywords and description. To find the URL of your post navigate to the post's page and copy the link showing in the address bar of your browser including the http:// prefix
Click on the Save Template button.
To check your description you can use the view source in your browser once you have navigated to the post page or a meta tag analyzer

Blogger – How to Enable Like/Share Buttons Under Blogger Post

In the Blogger Dashboard, go to Layout > Blog Posts (edit), and there is an option for Show Share Buttons. Turn this on, and the buttons should show.
