I've recently learnt that you can join a Facebook group as a page yourself, which is great for me as that means I can interact as the page rather from my personal account. However, when joining a page that requires you to answer a question, I do not have the option to select the pages name.
A couple of points:
Any ideas why I cannot join?
Groups may designate whether they allow "Pages" to join, or only "Members". The difference being that if you are applying to join as yourself, or as a fan page/business page/etc.
If the group does not allow Pages to become members then this option will not even show up.
According to Facebook this is due to Pages abusing their group memberships by spamming the groups members.
The feature needs to be rolled out to the group you would like to join as well as the page you would like to join. (I don't believe it's 100% rolled out to everyone)
In addition, the admin must enable it in the group settings.

Once, that's done, you should be given the option.

So if you are only an editor of the page, you can't.
