Is there a way to have chat turned off (in order to be seen as logged out), but receive sound notifications when someone writes a message?

How do I turn off/on sound when I get an IM (instant message) in Facebook Chat?
To disable or enable the notification sound, please follow the steps below:
- Select the "Chat" menu button in the lower right corner of any Facebook page.
- Click the "Settings" link.
- Check the box next to "Play Sound for New Messages."
If the sound setting has not changed when you receive chat messages, please log out of your account and sign back in.
Go to your Account Settings and select Notifications from the left pane. Now you can see the Notification Settings page: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=notifications§ion=Facebook&view
Select "You'll receive: All notifications, except the ones you unsubscribe from" and click "Turn On" next to "Messages" under "You've unsubscribed from emails about:". That's all.

No. There is no way to get sound notification if you have turned off chat.
