How to remove notification for suggested friend on Facebook?
Example: do you know John? You can add him as your friend. It's giving me notification on the person that I do not know.

Facebook has access to all friendship-data on their site, even if you lock down the privacy settings. As an addition many users share their contact-book or even e-mails with Facebook. Most peoples have filled out their profile quite decent so it has data about your school, your employer, your current place, your interests and so on. Although Facebook states it does not use it, they can track all users (and even non-users) across many websites via the "like"-button which is transcluded directly from Facebook.
From this data it can calculate this friend requests.
You can now go to the friend requests page at https://www.facebook.com/friends/requests/ and select "View Sent Requests" which will take you to this page https://www.facebook.com/friends/requests/?fcref=ff&outgoing=1.
This should give you a list of friend requests you sent.

One trick I use is simply to block that user.
Click on the suggested person, that gives you their home page.
Click on the three-dot icon below their picture, a dropdown menu appears.
In this dropdown is the option Block User. Block them, Facebook stops offering that person as a friend.
It is however bit of a pain to block dozens of users. Don't forget that Facebook will just offer you someone else instead and you may not know them either.
