Is it possible to edit the text within a photo that I already posted on Facebook a week ago? I have a typing error in the text WITHIN the respective photo and I would like to correct it.

I am not sure why they removed it but,
It is under the following format

and your friends' recent links are http://www.facebook.com/posted.php

Facebook has a FAQ for this: I can't tag a Page in a photo.
You can only tag certain types of Pages in photos at this time. These include Pages most likely to appear in photos, such as brands, people and products. If a Page is eligible, you don't need to like it in order to tag it in a photo.
If you manage a Page that's eligible to be tagged in photos but you're currently unable to do so, let the Pages team know so we can try to fix what might be broken.

Facebook allows you only to rotate the photo that you have already uploaded but not possible to edit the content within image.
This is because for editing the image facebook should have integrate the photo editing tool in their website but it is not available with face. So, it is not possible to edit the image in facebook
