I've searched Facebook's privacy settings but I can't find a way to disallow friends from commenting on my Wall Posts (that I posted).
Is there a way to allow friends to view, but not to comment on Facebook wall posts by the profile owner? (Likes are OK, although I won't mind if they're disabled too.)
Unfortunately by September 30th this will not be possible with the new Timeline, the feature known as a Wall will be replaced by a timeline of your activity.
On each post there is a timestamp at the lower right, usually after the number of comments and likes on the post.
Click the timestamp and you'll be taken to a page focussing on just that wall post like so:
From there you can keep clicking "View previous comments" to reveal all previous comments.

No, it's not possible. The permissions for a post come all together by the relation this person has to you (group/friend/etc.) - if you can see it, you can comment on it.
The option to disallow comments is available only for groups via the relatively new feature Turn off comments (something like that) for individual posts.
