Google Calendar – Fix Google Calendar Link Not Working After Publishing Event

I want to create something like this Add to Calendar: Google Calendar™

To achieve the results have created a Google Calendar event invitation, please see the screenshot below.

After saving event, I have generated a link by Publish event and got the link which is below.

When I am sending this link to others this is opening the page to create new untitled event as per shown in below screenshot.

I found the soloution:

The calendar that contains the event needs to be published.

As I did not want to make my calendar public I just created a new one.

So far, the best solution we've come up with is to get the Embed code and create a page that embeds an iFrame of the appropriate size, detecting mobile browsers and adjusting the viewport accordingly.

Instead of using the DAY mode (which still looks like poo on mobile browsers), we've figured out how to switch to Agenda mode:

Here it is: http://cal.higheredphilly.com/ -- should be fairly viewable on at least Android and iOS phones. iPad and non-mobile devices get no viewport adjustment and the iframe should fill the page.

Scratch that last bit. Instead of using an iFrame, when you're not on a mobile browser we've decided to just redirect straight to the day-view calendar. That way there's no issues with iframe size rendering on IE/etc.

Google Calendar – Mark Yourself as Attending Your Own Event

It turns out that the "Yes / No / Maybe" options are not initially shown for an event until you add a guest other than yourself.

If you just add yourself as a guest, nothing happens. When you add the first guest other than yourself, a guest list appears with two guests (yourself as "Organizer", plus the guest you invited). The presence of the guest list causes the "Yes / No / Maybe" options to appear at the bottom of the event's popup card and on the event's details page.

So, here are the steps you can take to create an event that you can mark "Yes / No / Maybe":

Create the event.
Add a guest other than yourself.
Save the event.
Open the details for the event again.
Delete the guest you just invited.
Save the event again.
At the bottom of the popup card, the "Yes / No / Maybe" options will now be available.

Unfortunately, step 3 is required for the guest list to remain; if you don't save, it will disappear. To avoid bothering someone with a random invitation, you can use a dummy account as the guest or choose "Don't send invitations" when you save in step 3.
