Google-docs – Text folding in Google Docs

I encourage you to submit your request for this capability directly to the Docs Team. The more requests they receive for a feature, the more likely they will work on it.

You should do both:

1) star this coding feature request (Then go to the setting of this page (the gear on the right) and disable all notifications, or you'll be flooded by "me too!" emails).

2. Open a Google Docs document.
3. Go to Help > Docs help.
4. Click on Send feedback (at the bottom).
5. Write: we need an EndnoteSection
6. Press the blue Send button.

Google Docs does not support this feature natively, but here is a userstyle that will do what you want. Load it with an extension like Stylus (Chrome, Firefox). If you want a color other than yellow, replace #FFAA00 with the color of your choice.
