Sometimes I see a link added to Google search results to "block all results from example.com" except this link is never displayed for the domains which I actually want to block. Is there some way to have this link displayed for every result?

- Go to Google's Advanced Search Page
- Expand the
Date, Usage Rights, NumericRange, and Moresection
- Choose from the following options
- Past 24 hours
- Past week
- Past month
- Past year
OR
- Do a regular Google Search
- Expand the
ShowSearch toolson the leftunderneath the search field - Choose from the following options.

These options appear in the query string. I don't think there is a way to include them in the regular search input as a search operator. In other words, I don't think it can be used like the filetype search term.

Edit: You don't need to block [anything].about.com, just about.com because [anything].about.com is a sub domain to about.com. The minus sign is used for negation and "site:".. I think you understand...

While you are logged in to Google go to this address. It will let you block up to 500 sites from showing up in your search results.
