So, say I am going to try searching up Twitter for example, but when I type in the letter t a Google search for tilt appears as the first option. How can I make it so that when I type in the letter t, Twitter is the first option? So I can just type t and then enter.

&lr=lang_xx&hr=xx

Where xx is the language code you want to search in (like en for English, de for German, etc.)

For example:

Filetype searches only work for specific types on Google.

Have a look at the "Advanced Search" for details.

Otherwise, you need to put the query in quotes to try and stop Google from being too clever! This will of course return more than you want as it searches for the text as well as the URL.

You are right that inurl and filetype ignore the period. A quoted search term though will take it into account.
