Google Sheets – How to Left Align Currency Symbol and Right Align Number

How to left align dollar sign and right align the number, like Excel currency format?

For example:

$    3,546
$   44,345

Also, is there a way to create a custom format?

Highlight the cells you wish to be this way then click "Format" -> "Number" -> "Accounting".

Google Spreadsheets uses 'грн.' to identify hryvnia. To use the currency Google tells us we need to:

Select the range of cells you'd like to format or modify.
Click the 123 toolbar icon.
Select the number, date, or currency format you'd like to apply to the range of cells.

You can also add Custom Currencies (like ₴) using the 123 menu as in the screenshot below.
