I drew an entity with several fields, then needed to delete some of them. Unfortunately, pressing Delete just cleaned field names, but not deleted their rectangles

You can change the text value in the style (Edit->Edit Style) of a selected cell to input the text you want, see this slightly out of date video. We will add it to the right click menu, but we can't give a date currently.

Yes, you can now use the draw.io Google Docs addon to directly embed a draw.io diagram within a Google Doc. This is the listing for the addon, but it's easier to open a Google Doc, select "add-ons", then "get add-ons" from the menu:
A panel of add-ons will then display. In the search box type "draw.io" and click "install" to add the draw.io plugin.

Just double click the row until you select it whole as shown in the image below. Then press Delete or right mouse click > Delete
