I have a Google Presentation template (the title page and a slide) and I want to extract the graphics from it (so that I can use it later with LaTeX/Beamer).
How do I do that?
PS. Note that this is not about an individual image but about a style template.
There does not seem to be a way to do this. I have tried
I assume these ways work pre-Google's new layout.
And only fonts (not symbols such as omega) are recognized by the presentation when transferring.
There is a lot of JS/CSS/HTML magic going on in there

As seen above, the symbols differ.
I am not sure why it isn't priority for them as an equation editor has been requested for a while
The ugly workaround would be to download as a .doc re-upload to Google Docs, and let all equations be converted to images now you can share the web clipboard.
This is currently not a Google Docs feature (and not possible) based on online documentation and no better answer. Apparently, this worked at one point in Google Docs, but it required viewers to use Google Talk (and this combination was buggy at the time).
An alternative I went with is PowerPoint 2010, which comes with a feature to broadcast slideshows to users over the Internet.

If one could do that, I think Google Apps Script would be my best bet. Currently it is not possible in Google Apps Script to access a Google Slide that way. See this enhancement request in the Google Apps Script issue tracker, to make that possible:
