Flickr – How to Move Photos from Picasa Web Albums to Flickr

Migratr is a usefull utility that lets you copy your photos from different sharing services using your hard drive as temporary storage. You can also download content to your hard drive without migrating it.

It supports multiple services including:

• Photobucket
• Flickr
• Picassa
• Faces.com
• AOL Pictures
• Phanfare
• Zooomr
• SmugMug

You can easily do this with Google's command line tools.

Here's how to create a new album and upload new files to it:

Create an album titled "funny-pics-from-reddit"

stu@sente ~ $ google picasa create --title "funny-pics-from-reddit"
Created album: https://picasaweb.google.com/108147164794119808099/FunnyPicsFromReddit?authkey=Gv1sRgCNeGh-vqrJLlrgE

Upload some images to that album
