I have no access to app store (Google Chrome) at work and just wondering is there any way to run feedly as a simple site, like Google Reader used to be.

In Preferences | General, find "Filter Empty Collections" and set it to "On".
- Click "Prefs" in the upper left (just under your name)
- In the preferences panel scroll to the "Sharing" section
- Turn off Pintrest integration

Apparently you cannot for now. Probably Feedly uses some of Chrome's application tools.
