Where do I configure the languages of articles I want to see?

When you search for "Iraq war" on News.google.com, you'll see "Archives" option on the left pane under "Any recent news".
Clicking on it will bring new options as follows:
You can either click on any year or click on "Custom Range..." to select a range. This is the result for your case:
Short and simple: no, there is no way this can be directly done. In Google News, you can filter news based on topic, date, the website the news is posted on but nothing on the number of paragraphs posted in the news.
One thing that you can do is find particular news websites which give detailed news and filter your Google News results to show news from only these providers.

Google News is only matching "path of exile" to the content of news sites. Beyond the search term, if an article is in a different language, and it is high on the search list for some reason, that is what you get.
BTW, the fourth one looks like Hungarian.
What you can do is first search for "path of exile" in Google Search.
Then go to Advanced Settings. There you can set the language and/or region.
Then click on "News" on the top menu bar.
I only got English results with language set to English.
I doubt where you are matters, since Google News is set by the "Edition".
