I have some information I need to pass along, but also keep work-related information in my Dropbox. I'd like to share one folder but not all.

Open your local Dropbox directory and open a context menu on the directory you want to share. The Dropbox entry offers an option to make it public. The exact name of that entry depends on your language.

Try This:

Cust A shares folder with You. You share Folder with Cust B. (Folder stays same, no copy.)
No Auto-sync will be there, but maybe they both will see each other.

The foolproof plan can be:

Cust A shares with You (Copy A). You Make Copy B and share it with Cust B. (Now you have two copies of folder.)
Possibly no auto-sync, but for sure Cust A & B cannot see each other. You could use something like Microsoft Auto-Sync Toy (with Echo action) to sync.

The link generated for a file is something like this:

https://www.dropbox.com/_someRandomStrings_/_theNameOfTheFile

If you replace www with dl it will take you directly to the respective file. Alternatively, adding ?dl=1 at the end of the link above, will redirect it to the dl.dropbox.com URL.

Now, if you have the link to a folder and you add ?dl=1 at the end, it will start downloading it as an archive.
