Is there a way to avoid this intermediate page?
Visit https://[TEAM].slack.com/admin/attachments as an admin or owner of the team. Then simply click the X on all the website link previews you want to automatically "unfurl" again.
The link that Slack provided for you and is now used in Trello as an "attached conversation" is a link into the regular Slack Archives.
Slack generally archives all of your conversations and provides deep links to them. The link you received when you attached the conversation to a Trello card should point to the exact moment when the conversation happened (albeit in the context of a larger, full archive page).
At the moment, there is no way how you could stop this particular behaviour - it is intended this way. "Attach conversation" does nothing more than insert one link to the current place in the Slack channel conversation archive. It doesn't actually include or copy or otherwise save the conversation.
You can however change the message logging in Slack itself: see https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us/articles/203457187-Custom-message-and-file-retention for this.

All links generated in Slack take you to this intermediate step. Slack requires this page to figure out your user agent / operating system and accordingly triggers a URL handler. If you want to open these links in the web version, then you need to click again on
open this link in your browser. You can save this extra click by using a nifty trick:You can change your user agent to Chrome on Chrome OS. (For different browsers there are various user agent switcher extensions available)
This is the user agent string you can use:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10066.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/84.0.4147.125 Safari/537.36After making this change, Slack will still have the intermediary page, but it'll automatically redirect you to the web version from there.
