I can't find a Help documentation for publishing my documents in the StackEdit site. For example, what should I type in the File path at the Publish on Dropbox window? Could someone refer me to a guide? Because I didn't find any.
Another thing, is that I can't manage my documents anymore after signing in to the site in a new session. For example, working on my document another day. All my documents are vanished when closing the browser. Do I miss something?
I've hunted around the interwebs for just this solution, and HIGHLY recommend using Markdown Here. It is a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Safari that lets one toggle back-and-forth between Markdown and HTML. It's original use-case is for in composing e-mail, but it "works great" in Google Sites. Also, it supports TeX math formula, which for researchers, I would imagine could be quite useful.
FWIW, I started down the path of using the Markdown Site Editor suggested by @dnozay, but it seemed overly complicated for a few reasons:

LinkedIn does not support any of these tools "out of the box".
I created a new private LinkedIn group in which I could make test posts all day long without bothering anyone. HTML, Markdown and Textile all just rendered as plain text with gobbledegook. Some examples:
[n.b.: I am new to Textile, so that formatting may be incorrect. Even if so I'd bet you a dollar that correctly written Textile wouldn't work in a LinkedIn discussion.]
I'll poke around and see if there are any browser extensions or something that will allow this sort of thing. Stay tuned.

There's no help document that I know, just a quick introduction the first time you open Stackedit in a new browser. However, for your question about Dropbox, I happen to know from using various apps with Dropbox, that if you want to publish to the root of Dropbox, just type "/". If you want to publish to a specific folder or subfolder on Dropbox, you would type the path to that folder, starting with "/" and with another "/" for every time you go into a subfolder. So if you have a folder called "Cats" inside a folder called "Animals" and the "Animals" folder is one of the root folders on Dropbox, and you wanted to publish in the "Cats" folder, you would write that as "/Animals/Cats" (without the quotation marks).
Stackedit documents are created in your browser's local cache. If you start a new session and that involves your browser clearing its cache, then your Stackedit document will be gone, unless you synced it to a cloud service such as Dropbox first.
Further, if you open Stackedit in a different browser application, it will not load your document automatically, because each browser application (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE, etc) has its own cache.
If you synced a document to a cloud service, you can open that document again by clicking on the "#" in the top-left, then choosing Synchronize, and then choosing "Open from [your cloud service of choice]."
